From Squeegee To Success
Squeegee To Success is a youth-led process that allows squeegee kids an opportunity to create success plans framed around their version of success. They are able to learn valuable, transferrable skills including personal, professional and leadership development. We are also intentional about making meaningful connections to industry experts that align with their career aspirations. These connections often lead to the start of careers.
Our peer to peer model for teaching youth the fundamentals of leadership is unmatched. We partner with several schools to help their students learn critical life and leadership skills such as personal accountability, conflict resolution and more.
Our peer to peer model for teaching youth how to start and grow a small business is unmatched. We partner with several schools to help introduce their students to business ownership as a viable career pathway.
Healing Youth Alliance
We partner with The University of Maryland and Black Mental Health Alliance to help train youth on all aspects of Mental Health putting them in position to act as first aide responders for their peers and trainers for adults and adult led organizations who want to build better relationships with youth through the lens of mental health.
We are fortunate to partner with the legendary, The Franchise Jay Claxton to provide youth with an opportunity to learn Leadership through the art of Dj'ing.
Students get to learn and experience first hand how math works with music, the fundamentals of public speaking, how to be authentic and so much more! We are excited to work with schools and communities to offer this amazing opportunity. More to come!
We partner with Master Barbers and Teachers to provide youth interested in the Barbering trade with world training and skills that prepare them to excel in a State Certified Program.
Food Insecurity Project
We have a team of Heartbeats dedicated to solving the food insecurity problem among youth in Baltimore. They run the Granny Project, a cooking show where youth learn how to prepare homemade meal from older community members (grannys) and a mobile food pantry that allows youth to have food delivered directly to their location.
Mission Monday is a weekly sessions geared towards helping youth build their networks, learn critical life skills and gain confidence in areas such as public speaking and self-expression.
Tech Tuesday is when we evaluate our relationship with technology and help youth learn new skills that will keep them competitive in a tech driven world.
Winning Wednesdays is dedicated to personal growth and youth mental health. Wednesdays, it's time to WIN!

Focused Friday is all about reflecting on our past week and focusing on what's next. Fridays are for focusing on the future!
Year-round Career Opportunity
Since 2019 we have provided youth in Baltimore with an employment opportunity that allows them to earn money for investing in their personal and professional development while also interning at a 10K Small Business location.
